Sertraline 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg tablets available by brand names Zoloft 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg tablets (international) and Zosert 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg tablets (national) is an antidepressant.
Uses:
Zoloft 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg tablets are used for:
- Treating major depressive disorders.
- For the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder.
- For treating post-traumatic stress disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
- For the treatment of panic disorders and social anxiety
Dosage:
Dosage of Sertraline 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg tablets vary depending upon the disorder to be treated.
- Depression- Initially 50 mg/day one time which can be increased by 25 mg/day not more than 200/day.
- Obsessive compulsive disorder- Initially 50 mg/day one time which can be increased by 25 mg/day not more than 200/day.
- Panic and post traumatic disorders- 25 mg/day one time.
- Premenstrual syndrome- 0.25 mg once in every 6-12 hours.
- Anxiety- Initially 25 mg/day which may be increased but not more than 200 mg.
