Purpose

Armodafinil 50mg, 150mg tablets are used to treat insomnia caused by narcolepsy and other sleep disorders. These tablets come under the international brand name of nuvigil and have an Indian brand name of waklert.  Extreme sleepiness is cured by these tablets which cause due to obstructive sleep disorders and sleep apnea. Also, Nuvigil tablets help keep the patient awake. The medication is also helpful in maintaining sleep hours during work hours.

 

How does it work?

Armodafinil 50mg, 150mg tablets works by calming down certain chemicals in the brain. It promotes wakefulness in the patients by this mechanism.

 

Measures and precautions

  1. Read the instructions of the medicine carefully before consuming it.
  2. The medicine shows its action within one hour of its consumption.
  3. Waklert tablets are consumed orally from the mouth. No other means of consumption are entertained during the consumption.
  4. Take the medicine once in the morning daily as instructed by the concerned doctor.
  5. Armodafinil 50mg, 150mg tablets is taken at least one hour before the start of work hour.
  6. Waklert tablets are not food-dependent medications. They can be taken with or without food.
