Purpose

Pazopanib 200mg,400mg tablets are designed for the treatment of symptoms of soft tissue sarcomas. These sarcomas are a type of cancer cell that proliferate swiftly in the body. the medication comes under the brand name of Votrient.

 

How does it work?

Votrient tablets belong to the class of drugs called antineoplastics, VEGF inhibitors, and kinase inhibitors.  The tablets interfere with the growth process of cancer cells and hence, control the growth of cancer cells.

 

Measures and precautions

  1. Pazopanib 200mg,400mg tablets are a type of prescription medicine that should be taken in the presence of a doctor’s consultation.
  2. Votrient tablets can be consumed with some other type of medications also. It does not show any type of interactive reactions.
  3. Votrient tablets are not safe for the use of children. it should not be used in that case.
  4. Pazopanib 200 mg,400mg tablets is used for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma also in adults.
  5. Patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma who have undergone prior chemotherapy can also take this medication.
  6. Pazopanib 200mg,400mg tabletscan be taken with or without food. This medicine is not food-dependent.
  7. In the case of taking with food, the dose should be consumed at least one hour or two hours after meals.
  8. The dosage of the medication should be modified for hepatic impairment for the patients.
  9. Do not crush or break the tablets during the process of consumption.
  10. If any dose is missed, then the dose should be immediately consumed. There should be a minimum gap of 12 hours between two doses of this medication.
  11. If the side-effects persist for a longer time or if it is not curing soon, then report the conditions to the doctor.
  12. Do not modify the doses by yourself, it may severely harm your body.
  13. Avoid taking concomitant drugs with this medication as they are not good for the users.
