Voriconazole 200mg tablets is an azole antifungal medication. It is used to treat fungal infections. The medication comes in an international brand name of Vfend and an Indian brand name of Voriz.

 

How does it work?

Vfend tablets are given to patients who are experiencing fungal infections. The medication works by stopping the growth of the fungal populations in the diseased body. Voriconazole 200mg tablets degrade the fungal cell wall and hence reduces the fungal population.

 

Measures and Precautions

  1. Voriz tablets are consumed orally with plenty of water. The tablets are not crushed down or break open.
  2. Voriz tablets are consumed in exact doses at exact duration of time as prescribed by the respective doctor.
  3. Before starting the doses of the voriconazole 200mg tablets, tell your doctor about your whole medical history of yourself. This includes all types of medication and allergies you have.
  4. The usual timing of taking the dose is 1 hour before the meal or 1 hour after the meal.
  5. Generally, the doses and length of treatment is based on the condition of the users being treated. Sometimes, the dosages are in cycles for the treatment process.
  6. For getting the best results, Voriz tablets should be consumed at evenly spaced time intervals. The medicine is taken at the same time, every day without any delay.
  7. Complete the whole course of Voriconazole 200mg tablets without any interruption. It should not be stopped until the whole of prescribed dose is completed.
