Atenolol 25 mg + Chlorthalidone 12.5 mg Tablets are used for the treatment of

The medication comes under an international brand name of Tenoretic and an Indian brand name of Tenoric.
How does it work?
The main ingredients of this tablet are chlorthalidone and atenolol which act as beta-blockers. Tenoretic tablets work by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in the user body which affects epinephrine. This lowers the blood pressure in the body and hence regulates the blood flow. Chlorthalidone is called a “water pill” which also helps in reducing extra fluid and water from the body.
Measures and precautions
- Tenoric tablets are prescribed by the doctor to treat the symptoms of high blood pressure in its users.
- Read the instructions carefully before consuming the tablets to avoid any misconceptions regarding them.
- Tenoric tablets can be consumed with or without food. They are food-independent.
- Intake these pills at a time close to bedtime. It is the ideal time to consume it.
