Itraconazole 100mg Capsules are used to treat a variety of fungal infections. It is known by the brand name Sporanox worldwide.

Working and uses

Itraconazole 100mg Capsules generally work by stopping the growth of fungus and are used to treat infections of the body like mouth, throat, vagina and other parts of the body including fingernails and toenails. It kills the fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane of the body.

 

Dosage

  • Sporanox should generally be taken in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor.
  • It should be administered orally with water.
  • You can take it either on an empty stomach or after having a meal.
  • To get the most benefit, take Sporanox at an evenly spaced time and continue using it until your prescription is finished or even if your symptoms disappear after a few days.
  • If you stop this treatment too early, the infection may come back and if you miss any dose you can increase your risk of infections that are resistant to further treatment.

Side effects
