Purpose

Sevelamer 400mg,800mg tablets are used to reduce the blood phosphate levels in patients who are undergoing dialysis. The decrease in blood phosphorus levels helps to maintain the health of bones, and the heart. It reduces the chances of strokes and other unsafe diseases. The medication has an international brand name of Renageland an Indian brand name of renvela.

Renageltablets work by holding up the phosphorus element from the diet so that it can not accumulate in the body. hence, the phosphorus gets discarded out of the user body. the elements of this tablet hold excess phosphorus which maintains the phosphorus levels in the body.

 

Measures and precautions

  1. Consume renvela tablets orally as instructed by the concerned doctor. The medication should be taken 3 times a day usually.
