Purpose

Olanzapine 2.5mg,5mg, 7.5mg,10mg tablets are used for the treatment of mental or mood conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder conditions. The medication is available under the international brand name of Zyprexa and has Indian brands olexar and oleanz. The tablets are also effective in reducing hallucinations in the user.

 

How does it work?

Zyprexa tablets contain active ingredients which belong to the drug category of atypical antipsychotics. These drugs or ingredients act on the brain chemicals which helps in restoring the balance of brain chemicals.  The natural balance is restored with the implementation of oleanz tablets.

 

Measures and precautions

  1. Olanzapine 5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg Tablets are prescribed by the doctor for treating hallucinations and other mental conditions. In addition to this, the pills are used to think clearly and positively about anything.
  2. Olexar tablets can be consumed alone or with some other medications also. It all depends on the medical condition of the user.

There are no severe reactions observed in the case of olanzapine tablets. But some sort of interactions is seen with:

  • Dopamine
  • Fluvoxamine
  • Levodopa
  • Methyldopa
  • Ondansetron
  • Lisuride

With these, some types of moderate interactions are seen with brimonidine, chasteberry, and ethanol.
