Tramadol 50mg, 100mg Injection is similar to opioid analgesics. It is a narcotic-like pain-relieving agent. In international pharmacies, it is known by the name of Ultram. Whereas, in India, it is known by the name Nobligan.

 

Purpose:

• Ultram helps in relieving moderate, and moderately severe pain.
• The condition that affects joints and muscles with pain is also treated with this drug.
• It responds to pain and decreases pain by focusing on the brain and how the body feels.
• Pain in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis can also be prevented with this solution.

 

Mechanism:

The chemical substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain are blocked by Tramadol 50mg, 100mg Injection that tells us that we are suffering from pain.

 

Dosage:

• Strictly as prescribed by your doctor.
• The dosage depends on the severity of pain, age of the patient and other factors.
• Nobligan is injected by intravenous or intramuscular route.
• The usual dosage is 50 to 100 mg every 4-6 hours until a permanent relief is obtained.
• The daily should not be exceeded by 400mg.
• Nobligan is not suitable to be given to children under 12 years of age.
• A dose adjustment is not required in elderly patients (75 years of age) who are mot suffering from hepatic or renal inefficiency.

 

Side effects:

• Common side effects of being injected with Tramadol 50mg, 100mg Injection are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, lightheadedness, dizziness, weakness, stomachache, fatigue among others.
• Serious side effects include weight loss, loss of appetite, hallucinations, agitations, sleep apnea, persistent vomiting, or seizures.
• In rare cases serotonin toxicity/syndrome might occur, where the levels of serotonin rise severely high, which can lead to increased heartbeat ad confusion.
• If any of the above-mentioned side effects persist fr long, or bother you, consult your doctor as early as possible.

Precautions and measures:

• The use of this injection is recommended for not more than 5 days.
• Prolonged use of this drug can result in psychological dependence.
• Get injected with this solution on a full stomach.
• Patients suffering from hepatic or renal efficiency should take this injection when necessarily required. Regular monitoring is required by the medical supervisor.
• Prohibit the consumption of alcohol and marijuana as it can lead to extreme dizziness and sleepiness.
• Do not indulge in activities that require attention and concentration right after being injected with Tramadol 50mg, 100mg Injection.
• Nobligan injection is meant to be injected into your vein.
• Keep a regular check on your blood pressure.
• It should be given as a single injection.
• The product should not be consumed if floating particles are visible in the liquid, the seal is broken, there has been a refrigeration failure, or the liquid is coloured.

Do not shake the vial before administration.
