Mitomycin C 2mg, 10mg, 40mg injection is used for the treatment of cancer of the pancreas and stomach.
The medicine can be used with other factors to yield effective results. It comes under the international brand name of Mitosol, Mutamycin, Jelmyto, and an Indian brand name of Mitocin. The injection is given in the left arm of the cancer patient to treat the disease.
Measures and Precautions
- Mitomycin C 2mg, 10mg, 40mg injection is given intravenously into the veins of the patients.
- An expert healthcare worker will administer the mitosol injection into the user’s body.
- While giving the infusion, if the user feels burning, pain and swelling, then he or she should tell the worker for the same.
- Some people may also develop skin ulcers by taking the jelmyto injection on the site of injection. Even the skin color also changes in the infusion.
