Fosfestrol tetrasodium 120 mg tablets having brand name as Honvan 120 mg, is an anti-cancer drug.

Uses:

Various uses of Fosfestrol tetrasodium 120 mg tablets are:

• For the treatment of prostate cancer (used as high-dose estrogen therapy).
• Also used to prevent the spread of testosterone at the time of therapy in men.

 

Dosage:

Given orally, dosage of Honvan 120 mg varies from person to person.

• Initial dose is of 360 to 480 mg thrice a day.
• Maintenance dose is 120 to 240 mg thrice a day.

 

Side effects:

Side effects caused by Fosfestrol tetrasodium 120 mg tablets do not require any medical treatment but you need to see your doctor if any of the below listed symptoms persists:

• Nausea

• Jaundice
