Diethylcarbamazine 120 mg/5 ml syrup also known as Hetrazan 120 mg/5 ml belongs to anthelmintic group.

Uses:

Hetrazan 120 mg/5 ml is used for the treatment infection caused by worm. It fights both with adult and larval form of worms. Its various uses are:

• Filarial infections (infection caused by a parasite roundworm).
• Pulmonary eosinophilia caused by microfilaria.
• Toxocariasis/ visceral larva migrants.
• Loiasis

 

Dosage:

Dosage of Diethylcarbamazine 120 mg/5 ml syrup is as follows:

• Take Hetrazan 120 mg as directed by your physician.
• If you have missed a dose do not double it.
• See your doctor in case of overdose.
