Midodrine 2.5mg tablets belongs to the category of Antihypotensive medicine.  This medication is used to treat low blood pressure called hypotension

This low blood pressure causes dizziness and light-headedness and passing out feeling. With the use of the midodrine 2.5mg tablets, the low blood pressure condition can be combated. The tablets come in international brand names of Amatine, Proamatine and an Indian brand name of Gutron.

 

How it works?

Amatine tablets works in the body by constricting or narrowing the blood vessels which ultimately increases the blood pressure in the user’s body.

 

Measures and Precautions

  1. Before using medication, clearly read the medication guide for the proper treatment of the proamatine tablets.
  2. Gutron tablets are taken when low blood pressure affects the daily life activities of the patients. In some other cases of urgency, the tablets are not used.
  3. If the user or patient uses the midodrine 2.5mg tablets, he or she should tell all the medical history of them. In case of severe heart disease, tumor and kidney diseases, the tablets are not used.
  4. If any user’s blood pressure is high even in the lying down position also, he or she should not use Gutron pills.
