Beta-Estradiol2 mg tablets available by brand name Estrofem 2 mg tablets area female sex hormone which is produced by the ovaries.

Uses:

Estrofem2 mg tablets work as a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to treat hormone borne diseases in women. Its various uses are:

• For the treatment of post menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes or dry vagina.
• For the treatment of vaginal atrophy.
• For treating the side effects caused by low estrogen levels in the body.
• For the treatment of infertility.
• For treating the symptoms of osteoporosis.
• In the treatment of end stage breast cancer/ prostate cancer.
• For oophorectomy.

 

Dosage:

Take one tablet of Estrofem 2 mg tablets daily. It is recommended to take it on the same time. Do not chew or crush the tablet. Swallow it as whole with water.

• Inform your doctor if you suffer vaginal bleeding as the drug may cause more damage.
• Inform your doctor if you had/have any heart or blood vessel disorders such as heart attack or blood clot.
• The medicine is only recommended for the patients who have end stage breast cancer. All other stages must not be treated with this medicine.
• Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any liver disorder.
• Inform your doctor if you have migraine as the drug may elevate headache.
• The medicine is not recommended if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
