Enoxaparin 60mg injection is a drug of the class anticoagulants. This injection is used for the prevention and treatment of harmful blood clots in the user’s body. In addition, to prevent the formation of clots, it also prevents the body from the risk of strokes and heart attacks.  This medication also helps in maintaining the blood flow in a good way. The injection comes in an international brand name of Lovenox, Clexane, Xaparin, and an Indian brand name of Encoxel.

 

How does it work?

Lovenox injection is also called a blood thinner. It works by lowering the activity gradient of all types of clotting proteins in the user’s blood. This helps in preventing the clotting factors in the blood. The blood clots can be formed after various types of surgeries like knee or hip replacement, abdominal surgeries, etc.  It is also helpful in the condition of a certain type of heart attack and unstable angina.  In some cases, Clexane injection is also used with other blood thinners to prevent the coagulation of the blood.
