How does it work?

Daflon 500mg medication is a semi-synthetic drug that works by delaying neither effect of norepinephrine vasoconstriction on the vein walls. Micronized Purified Flavonoid fraction of Rutaceae (Diosmin 500 mg + Hesperidin 50 mg) Tablets medication also maximizes the intensity and frequency of lymphatic contractions which in turn improves the lymphatic drainage system.  The drug has a direct effect on the vascular system and hence, maintains normal functioning.

 

Measures and Precautions

1. Daflon 500mg tablet is consumed with or without food. It is food-independent.
2. Do not suddenly stop the usage of the tablets as they can show severe withdrawal syndrome in the patient’s body.
3. The Micronized Purified Flavonoid fraction of Rutaceae (Diosmin 500 mg + Hesperidin 50 mg) Tablets are not habit-forming so it does not show any withdrawal syndromes after stopping the usage.
4. If the patient is allergic to such sort of drugs, he or she should immediately consult the doctor for it. Delay should not be done.
5. Avoid the use of alcohol with the medication as it is not good and leads to bad conditions.
6. Patients with liver dysfunction should not intake the tablets, as it can cause more liver problems.

8. The medication is quick in action. It starts its action within 30minutes from the intake time.

Interactions

Daflon 500mg has some interactions with alcohol, other medicines, and certain diseases.  With alcohol, it can increase the chances of liver problems, with other medicines, the interactions lead to harmful scenarios. So it is not recommended to use the medication with other medicines.  Some disease interactions like kidney diseases can cause more severe conditions.
