Remdesivir 100mg Injection is used to treat patients suffering from Corona virus infection. The infection is caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. This injection is given to hospitalized adults and children.
Covifor is an injection that contain drug named Remdesivir. It is an antiviral. This injection is administered to hospitalized adults and children who are 12 years of age. Also they should weigh at least 40 kg.
Remdesivir 100mg Injection is available in the liquid form as well as Lyophilized powder form. The powder is reconstituted with liquid and administered intravenously. It is available in sterile vials containing 100 mg/20 ml Remdesivir.
Remdesivir 100mg Injection is administered into veins. The injection is given over a time period of 30 to 120 minutes.
The length of the treatment is not limited to this. Although dosing after 5 days is not suggested. However, it depends on the response of the body of the patient.
