Purpose
Ciprofloxacin 100mg, 250mg, 500mg, 750mg film coated tablets are used for the treatment of bacterial infections. It is not used for the treatment of viral infection. The medication comes under the international brand name of cifran and an Indian brand name of ciplox.
How does it work?
The tablets work by inhibiting the growth of bacterial cells in the user body. the tablets show effects in quick time after consumption. The medication falls under the category of quinolone antibiotics.
Measures and precautions
- Cifran tablets are mainly prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections only. It should be noted that the tablets are only meant for treating bacterial infections, not viral infections.
- Ciprofloxacin 100mg, 250mg, 500mg, 750mg film coated tablets can be consumed with or without food. They are not meal-dependent.
- Consume the tablets through the mouth in an oral manner twice a day for better results.
- Take the medicines at a regular time as instructed by the concerned doctor.
- Do not try to increase or decrease the doses of ciplox tablets. As they are not good for the health of the user.
- If any user is taking other medications, then the tablets should be taken atleast 1 hour or 6 hours before the other medication.
