Bimotoprost 0.03% + Timolol 0.5% eye drops is an ophthalmic solution available with brand names Careprost Plus eye drops.

Uses:

Being an antiglaucoma eye drop, various uses of Careprost Plus eye drops are:

• For reducing the pressure in the eyes of the patients who suffer from glaucoma.
• To maintain the flow of fluid in the eyes.
• For treating other eye disorders such as ocular hypertension.

 

Dosage:

Patients are recommended to put one drop of Careprost Plus eye drops once daily in the affected eye. The result is seen after 4 hours of first administration.

 

Side effects:

• Burning, irritation and redness in the eyes.
• Increased light sensitivity
• Dry/ watery eyes
• Colour change of the iris
• Changes in vision
• Pain in eyes

• Wash your hands properly to avoid any contamination.
• If you wear contact lenses, remove lenses before applying eye drops.

• Do not drive or operate heavy machines as eye drops may result into unstable vision.
• Do not rub your eyes before and after the usage of eye drop.
• Inform your doctor if you had an eye surgery.
• Inform your doctor if you are lactating as it is not well known that whether the drug passes to the baby through breast milk or not.
• The eye drop should be used only in the affected eye and do not stop using it unless your doctor advice to do so as this may lead to increased pressure in the eyes.
