Purpose
Caspofungin acetate 70mg injection that is used for the inhibition of fungus cell walls.
How does it work?
Cancidas injection is a sterile, lyophilized product that has intravenous infusion (IV). The chemicals are in the form of semisynthetic lipopeptide that is synthesized from the fermented product of Glare lozoyensis. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of beta (1,3) D-glucan which is an important part of the fungal cell wall. In this way, the injection reduces the production of fungal cell walls.
Measures and precautions
- Caspofungin acetate 70mg injection is used to treat fungal cells. The injection is applied as per the doctor’s instructions and in presence of an expert.
- Cancidas 70mg injection is sterile, lyophilized fluid with anti-fungal properties. The injection is available in single-dose vials that have 50mg, 70mg respectively.
- The injection dose depends upon the medical condition of the patient.
- The injection should be diluted before administering it in the body with diluents available in the market, like dextrose solution.
- Premedication at least 30 min before the actual dose of Caspofungin acetate 70mg injection should be given to the patients to reduce the risk of side-effects and severe hypersensitivity.

Interactions
