Purpose

Agomelatine 25mg tablets are used for the treatment of depression. The tablets come under the international brand name of valdoxan, melitor, thymanax, and an Indian brand name of agopose.

 

How does it work?

Valdoxan tablets come in the category of melatonin antagonists.  The melitor tablets work by synchronizing the disturbed sleep-wake cycle in the user that causes depression.  The medication is useful in treating the sleep-wake cycles also.

 

Measures and precautions

  1. Agomelatine 25mg tablets are prescribed by the doctor for reducing depression in users.
  2. The thymanax tablets take few weeks to start working in the user body. do not discontinue the dose of agopose tablets suddenly.
  3. The agomelatine 25mg tablets should be taken atthe prescribed time by the doctor. The recommended time is bedtime.
  4. Avoid driving when taken these agopose tablets as it can cause dizziness which can result in accidents.
  5. Do not intake alcohol with the consumption of agopose tabletsas it can lead to undesired side-effects.
