Pomalidomide 1mg, 2mg, 3mg, 4mg capsules belong to the class of anticancer medicines.  The capsules are effective for the treatment of cancers such as multiple melanomas and sarcoma.

How does it work?

Pomalyst capsules work by stopping the growth of certain types of cancer cells in the body. It helps in the degradation of the cancerous cells which has undergone metastasis in the affected user body.

 

Measures and Precautions

  1. Imnovid capsules may increase the patient’s risk of getting a rare and serious brain infection. So, it should be used with caution and according to the doctor’s instructions.
  2. In case of pregnancy, the woman should take the capsules as per the doctor’s instructions to avoid any harm to the unborn baby.
  3. The patients who get treated with this medication rarely get other type of cancers in their lives. Consult the doctor for more instructions about the medicine.
  4. Consume the Pomide capsules orally through the mouth. It is a food-dependent medicine that should be taken with food only.  Always follow the doctor’s instructions for consumption.
  5. The course of the medication is 21 days. This course should be completed to observe the better results of treatment.
  6. Do not discontinue the dose of Pomide capsules in between 21 days. This does not give good results.
  7. If any dose is missed of Pomalidomide 1mg, 2mg, 3mg, 4mg, then it should be taken as soon as you remember. If the dose has been missed more than 12 hours, then do skip the dose.
  8. It is directed to consume the whole of the capsule at one go with plenty of water. Do not crush, chew or break the capsule to consume it.
  9. The patients should not consume the alcohol and marijuana while in consumption of the Pomalidomide 1mg, 2mg, 3mg, 4mg Capsules. It can mark the cause of dizziness and drowsiness.
  10. The dosages of the Pomide capsules are based on the medical condition of the patients and their response to the treatment. The doctor will examine the whole situation of the patients and then prescribe the dose of the required medicine.
