Purpose

Exenatide 250mcg per ml injection – 1.2ml pen of 5mcg dose or 2.4ml pen of 10mcg dose (60 doses) is used for the treatment of symptoms of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The medication comes under the international brand name of bydureon and an Indian brand name of Byetta.

 

How does it work?

Bydureon injection belongs to the category of antidiabetics like glucagon peptide-1 agonists.  It works by acting on the disturbed chemicals of the patient body.  the injection is useful with a well-maintained diet.

So, it is recommended to use the injection with caution.
