Kojic acid 2% + Glycolic acid 10% + Arbutin 5% Cream available by brand name Demelan cream is a skin lightening agent.

Uses:

Demelan cream is a topical agent. It reduces the formation of melanin in the skin thus reducing hyperpigmentation. Various uses of the cream are:

• For treating pigmentation of the skin.
• For the treatment of skin discolouration or patches formed due to acne, sunburns or any other reason.

 

Dosage:

Frequency of the use of Kojic acid 2% + Glycolic acid 10% + Arbutin 5% Cream is decided by your doctor depending upon the amount of pigmentation of the skin. It is for external use only. Apply the small amount of cream on the affected area (free from cuts or wounds) as directed by your doctor. Rinse your hands thoroughly after usage.

 

Side effects:

Demelan cream do not cause any serious side effects but consult your doctor immediately if you experience the following symptoms:

• Redness
• Itching
• Burning
• Skin irritation

 

Precautions and measures:
